Bushwick Block Party
The Bushwick neighborhood in Brooklyn is rich with history—of different people and industries moving through, leaving their mark, or staying a while.
This summer family festival wanted to reach out to the local neighbors to celebrate the colorful culture of one of New York’s brightest and boldest places to call home.

While Bushwick today is full of street art, creative souls, and bold folks from all around the world, it’s also got a strong history as an industrial neighborhood.
Drawing inspiration from both, we mixed daring colors with industrial type to make a simple graphic treatment that has a family-friendly and approachable bend.
Concept work for a student project.
